TEN QUOTES FOR YOUR WEEK.
Happy Sunday!
For me, Sunday is a day to rest, think about the upcoming week, and reenergize. Today I am not so happy about daylight savings time. We turned the clocks back an hour last night, Which means it will be getting dark around 4:30 pm. For me, someone who smiles when I wake up and see the sun and struggle with dark, gloomy days, leaning towards seasonal depression...I don't like it. It messes with my mojo...my circadian rhythm does not enjoy the change.
It's part of life, and I get it; I accept it. But I don't have to like it. I'm going to talk about seasonal depression in a later blog. But for now, I want to share some of my favorites, quotes. Most are from Brene Brown. She inspires me, and when it's dark and glooming, I need all the inspiration I can get.
Enjoy Nine quotes from Brene and one from me:)
" We don't have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to."
~ Brene Brown
Vulnerability is the core of shame and fear and our struggle for worthiness, but it appears that it's also the birthplace of joy, of creativity, of belonging, of love.
~ Brene Brown
"Owning your story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it."
~ Brene Brown
"Shame cannot survive being spoken. It cannot survive empathy."
